I would like to know which are the best universities in the UK(other than London) for postgraduate studies in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering.
How do you compare Univ. of Manchester with Nottingham ?

Both Nottingham and Manchester are members of the Russell Group and you would have to study the detail of their departments of Mechanical/Manufacturing industry to choose between them. I would look particularly for the extent of links and sponsorship from major manufacturing companies.
