Chemical vs aerospace vs mechanical and electrical engineering?

I am just about to graduate from high school this year , but i so facinated in chemical , mechenical , aerospace and electrical engineering , please guide which one should i go for cause i am good , in Physics , Chemisty , Matter and Material 1 , and Electricity and magnetism

for a degree program to be abet accredited all students are required to take classes in several departments of engineering prior to beginning upper level course work. you will take about 2 years of these classes before beginning your coursework specific to the engineering field you chose. this gives you time to take the classes and decide which subject matters appeal the most.

look at graduation requirements, as many programs require you to take “upper division electives”, which means you get to pick the classes from whatever science or engineering department you wish. if a class you want to take is not on the list of “approved” classes you can petition it to be so. i petitioned for an architecture class to count toward my upper division and got it no problem. as long as you can somehow tie it to the degree in general they will probably say yes.

consider doing undergraduate research. i imagine you could easily find a joint project between several departments where you could learn a few thigns about each.

when you are in college you should take some time to read the course descriptions of several departments. decide which appeal most. keep in mind that engineering disciplines are highly intertwined, so what you do after graduation may be the same no matter which of these you chose.

mostly, relax. your coursework the first 2 years is the same no matter which engineering discipline you chose, so don’t worry too much about figuring it out now. good luck!
