U of Minnesota TwinCities Or Stevens Inst. of Tech?

I have been admitted to both of the University. I’m a undergraduate- international student, majoring in chemical engineering. imkinda in dilemma rite now coz i dont now exactly which one to choose. both of them are superb and in the top ranking. u of m has a really big campus meanwhile stevens is a private college. can you help me to make my choice? which one do you prefer n why?

I will disagree with your assessment on the two schools. Stevens is good. Minnesota is supurb. Stevens is not in the same league as Minnesota.

University of Minnesota is a top three Chemical Engineering program and one of the best engineering schools in the US. Stevens is a respected school — but is not even ranked when it comes to Chemical Engineering. It is not regarded as highly as Minnesota.

Minnesota has harsh winters — but other than that, it is a much better place to live than Hoboken (I’ve lived in both areas). You are right that Minnesota is huge — but one advantage of that is that it is able to offer you a lot more. In addition, the large student body actually makes it easier to meet people with whom you can connect.

I think it would be foolish of you to choose Stevens over Minnesota.
