Where can i find a Residential Structural Design step by step procedure?
i am a civil engineer student and i want to know where i can find a “Residential Structural Design Procedures” a book or much better if there as a document available for download in the internet like a PDF file. I saw some senior students using a thesis that they made as they design. Im really curious and i want to learn it as soon as possible. I wanted to design a 2 storey residential home.pls help. thanks to all
To my knowledge no such book exists. Whether or not the building is a residence or not a residence, the engineering theories are the same. There is an infinite number of variables related to the design of any structure, such as its shape, height, roof configuration, location, etc.
You need to consult with some of the structural engineers in your area. Maybe they can offer some free time to help you.
